Muay Thai Kick Training With A Partner
I’m going to keep this blog short and sweet. Just wanted to go over a basic drill you can do with a partner that will help get your Muay Thai round kicks better.
Partner drilling is one of the best way to improve your techniques because now you have someone that can help you find where your mistakes are, and what you need to do to fix them.
This is an easy drill you can do with a training partner at any level, beginner or advanced. As long as your partner understands the basic fundamentals of the Muay Thai round kick, then both of you will greatly improve your kicks with this one drill alone.
Some of the key fundamental aspects that you want to focus on with this Thai boxing drill are;
- Stepping out
- Keeping good posture
- Turning the foot, hip, shoulder
- Support leg straight
